ISO 9001
(NATIONAL STANDARDS) - HEALTHCARE


The new National Safety & Quality in Health Service Standards are replacing the Core Standards healthcare in Australia.  They are, effectively, 10 clinical nursing standards establishing best practice in heath care.

All private and public hospitals and day surgeries must comply with the new National Standards from 1 January 2013.

ISO 9001 has proven to be the best framework for these Standards to be documented and monitored.  In Australia, private facilities will continue to need certification against ‘ISO 9001 incorporating the National Standards’ to gain medical insurance benefits through their Health Purchaser Provider Agreements.

There is no ISO standard for OHS but OHSAS 18001 has been adopted throughout the world.

FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


Food Safety Management Systems complying with ISO 22000 is the highest international certification that can be achieved for food safety.

HACCP FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM


The TQCSI HACCP Code is formally recognised by JAS-ANZ as a standard/code against which companies can achieve third party certification for their food safety program. It incorporates the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).  

Third party certification also requires compliance with relevant regulations and any customer requirements.

QUALITY HEALTH & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


TQCSI’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Code (QHSE Code) is the first of its type in the world intended as a guide for businesses who are implementing a management system to address quality, workplace safety and environment issues.

TQCSI SBQMC
SMALL BUSINESS QUALITY MANAGEMENT


TQCSI’s Small Business Quality Management Code (SBQMC) is intended to be used as a guide for smaller businesses who are implementing a quality management system.  

The Code is not intended as a replacement for ISO 9001, rather it is based on the international standard and is designed to fill a void for those smaller businesses who have no current requirement for ISO 9001, or who do not have the resources to implement and maintain it.  However, as businesses grow, the Code is designed to be easily developed into the full ISO 9001 Standard.
