ASEAN Guidelines for Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practice
The GMP ASEAN Guidelines have been produced to offer assistance to the cosmetic industry in compliance with the provisions of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Cosmetic Directive.
The Good Manufacturing Practices documented are only a general guideline for manufacturers to develop their own internal quality management system and procedures. The most important objective must be that the final products must meet the quality standards appropriate to their intended use to ensure the consumer’s health and benefit.
Organisations who are certified to GMP (ASEAN Guidelines) must comply with the good manufacturing practices (GMP) required of the cosmetics industry and with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
