Few people realise just how many projects are publicly funded, but it forms a large proportion of major project spend worldwide. The numbers can be mind-blowing, for example in the UK, the Government funded major projects portfolio is some $800bn lifetime value. Defence forms a high profile major part of this, echoing the Australian Government’s recent commitments to some $200bn of defence capability acquisition ranging from submarines and ships to aircraft and land-based vehicles for the Australian Defence Force.

Barely a day goes by without a headline on cyber security hitting the news, with incidents ranging from personal data theft, system compromise, national infrastructure cyber security vulnerabilities to election manipulation, terrorism and the sale of our personal data all being regular stories.

Sabotaging of food is not new but is of a growing concern for food businesses and consumers.

Congratulations HenderCare Pty Ltd, TQCSI’s first ISO 45001 certified client!

Hendercare provides nursing and support services to public and private hospitals, government and non-government organisations, including aged care providers, community service providers, disability services and private clients.

TQCSI has now successfully met JAS-ANZ requirements for migration to ISO 45001!

One of TQCSI-Yaran’s clients, PSG Holdings has joined forces with Lend Lease Holdings to replace the RAN’s old Oil Wharf at Garden Island in Sydney.

To be known as the Bayinguwa Critical Wharf Works Project, the $213 million project was announced today and is due for completion in February 2022.

PSG Holdings is certified by TQCS-Yaran to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & AS 4801 for their integrated management system.

ISO 45001 is quickly being adopted by organisations throughout the world and TQCSI is already certifying clients. We expect it to also be adopted as an Australian/New Zealand Standard later this year, hopefully in 2018! However, only ISO certificates will be awarded by most Certification Bodies due to the confusion of Australian/New Zealand Standards often having different years of publication than the ISO Standards.
