TQCSI’s HACCP Code is the only recognised, publicly available Code for HACCP in Asia and is the only Code/Standard recognised by JAS-ANZ for HACCP certification.
The popular HACCP Code was formally recognised by JAS-ANZ in 2003 following an exhaustive review process.
The Code allows appropriately accredited certification bodies to audit businesses for their HACCP based, Food Safety Programs against a recognised standard under the JAS-ANZ banner.
President of TQCSI, Craig Bates, explained “currently, any business being certified for their HACCP Program is audited against some nebulous checklist or local rules established by the respective certification body but which are not available to the client. Our Code allows businesses to be audited against a published standard that is recognised, credible and transparent to auditors and clients alike."
The HACCP Code was developed after consultation with many industry experts in Australia and throughout Asia. It has been translated into various Asian languages.
