IRAN 2007 CLIENT OF THE YEAR
Iran 2007 Client of the Year has been awarded to Sepahan Cement Company in the Manufacturing Category, for displaying excellent environmental care and having a mature integrated management system which continually improves.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION DAY, 9 JUNE 2008
The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) have designated 9 June 2008 as International Accreditation Day. International Accreditation Day is intended to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation-related certification. A number of companies, including many in Australia, have been duped into thinking their certification is legitimate only to find out that their certifier is not accredited - often at the worst time when they are bidding for a tender. JAS-ANZ is TQCSI's accreditation body.
TQCSI 2008 CONFERENCE
TQCSI will hold its Triennial Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 14-18 April 2008. 30 Regional Office staff from around the world will attend.
ISO 9001:2008
ISO 9001:2000 will be revised with the publication of ISO 9001:2008 in about October. The good news is that the revision will be very minor and there will be no charges for upgrading certification to the new Standard. A more significant revision is planned for 2015.
